Yes. It’s true.
RVing Catventures is officially a thing.
Who are we, you ask? Allow us to introduce ourselves properly.
We are three amazing cats, proudly traveling with the ME Gone RVing Adventures family—and now, apparently, we’re bloggers too.
First up, there’s Ellie Claus, the wise elder of the group. She’s the oldest, the most experienced, and the one who believes naps are a professional sport. You may hear her called Ellie, El, or, on occasion... Fat Hen (don’t ask… humans are weird). Ellie has seen some things and prefers comfort, warmth, and judging quietly from a distance.
Next is Abby, the middle child. She’s observant, curious, and always knows exactly what’s going on. Abby is the one watching from the window, making mental notes, and keeping tabs on everyone—especially the humans. She’s calm, clever, and not easily impressed.
And finally, the baby of the group: Miss Fred. Chaos. Curiosity. Confidence. Miss Fred is the explorer, the troublemaker, and the one most likely to get into something she absolutely should not. She’s fearless and fully convinced the world exists for her entertainment.
Each of us has a unique story about how we ended up with our humans and joined the ME Gone RVing Adventures family, but we’ll save those for future blog posts. After all, a good blogger knows how to pace content.
So… why are we doing this blog?
Because humans live off memories.
They look back on moments, photos, places, and stories, and somehow, those memories inspire them to make more. And we cats? We’re all about moments. Sunbeams. New smells. Quiet mornings. Long drives. Watching the world pass by through a window.
This blog is our way of capturing those memories, through whiskers, paws, and a whole lot of attitude.
Welcome to our very first blog post, where three cats are officially moving from a travel trailer to a 5th wheel. Yes. It finally happened. Our humans upgraded.
Do you know how long it takes humans to make big decisions? Forever. But they did it. And now they’ll be working very hard (as they should) to remodel this new-to-us 5th wheel so we can continue, and expand... our RVing catventures.
More space. More windows. More nap locations.
We approve.
The remodel means a lot of change, and while cats are known for pretending to hate change, we secretly love new. New layouts to explore. New corners to claim. New routines to supervise. We’ll be monitoring the entire process very closely, usually from wherever the humans are standing.

We’re also hoping to network with other RVing cat travelers, because yes... those exist, and yes... we want to meet them. We are a cat-only RV household, and we fully support more feline representation in the RV world.
Dogs get a lot of attention.
We’re here to change that.
So welcome to RVing Catventures. This is just the beginning. There will be naps. There will be adventures. There will be opinions.
